Suncoast Naturists
Supporting naturist recreation in Southwest Florida
The Suncoast Naturists (SCN) organization was founded in 2000 to serve the Sarasota County geographic areas and has continued to grow since that date.
The organization was originally formed with two distinct purposes in mind:1. To provide, a clothing-optional venue in which local nudists and naturists can socialize with like-minded people.2. To provide advice and counsel to local elected and appointed officials to help them deal with simple nudity issues as they arise on private and public lands.
The Suncoast Naturists has in the past been an active member of the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce. SCN is also an affiliated member of both The Naturist Society (TNS) and the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR).

SCN sponsors a diverse array of social activities for it's members, including pool and themed parties at member’s homes, boating trips to local barrier islands, weekend trips to nudist resorts and naturist beaches, quarterly beach clean-ups, plus monthly dinners-out held at area wide-restaurants
